End of year awards will be given at the Chapter December Event, for the following categories (only one award per member):

1. Volunteerism – two awards given to members who demonstrate volunteerism in the community, either by volunteering in local charity events or volunteering to assist with DANPA events.
   
2. Technical Excellence – two awards will be given to members who demonstrate technical excellence in their given technical profession, on behalf of their employer or customer.
   
3. Vendor Excellence – two vendors will be given awards for their contributions to DANPA, concerning the quality of service and/or impact on our members concerning professional development and technical learning.

Recognition will be published on the DANPA web site, the NPA, and also in DANPA announcement letters to our ever growing member community. Summaries will also be issued to IT trade publications (such as MCP Magazine), where authorized. Honorees will be issued an award, plus a special gift!

Members, companies, and customers are encouraged to submit recommendations, along with a summary of what was performed and its impact to their business success. Just remember - deadline for submission is Friday, November 12th 2004 11pm.
