James Siegel and Ryan Troy will be here to discuss virtualization. James is our local Dell Representative.
Ryan Troy has over 15 years of Unix/Linux system administrator experience, working in diverse industries that range from web hosting to sales. He has an entrepreneur spirit and has owned two businesses in the hosting industry over the years.
He is passionate about virtualization, specifically Hyper-V and VMware technologies. Ryan is certified in both virtualization platforms and is a published author with O’Reilly on VMware. In addition to VMware, he is also fluent with OpenVZ, Xen (open source) and Hyper-V. He has written articles for Linux + magazine. He also founded the now-official Ubuntu Linux forums (http://www.ubuntuforums.org) in October 2004; he transferred ownership to Canonical in June 2007.
