Beginning next Thursday, August 16, 2012, DaNPA will begin hosting Windows Server 2012 MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate) training. According to Microsoft, “The Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Windows Server 2012 certification shows that you have the primary set of Windows Server skills that are relevant across multiple solution areas in a business environment.” To become a MCSA, you have to pass three tests. We plan to work on the first test during the months of August, September, October and November. After that, we will work on the second test in the Spring of 2013 and the final test during the Summer of 2013. Then … we should have several MCSAs in our User Groups!
Keith Mayer, Microsoft IT Pro Evangelist, will be leading the training. Keith is planning to divide each set of monthly study materials into weekly Knowledge Quests that tie to specific certification exam topics to ensure coverage for the first Windows Server 2012 Exam on Installing and Configuring. Each weekly Knowledge Quest will require participants to allocate up to 4-hours per week from their schedules to complete on their own time.
To kick off the training, please go to Windows Server 2012 “Early Experts” Apprentice Knowledge Quest – http://blogs.technet.com/b/keithmayer/p/trainws12fl.aspx and follow the steps.
